My avatar can either be male or female and I included glasses in the physical appearance to show that they might be studious which would be perfect for my segment because my customer would use my product in the library. These customers can have any range of hobbies and can be studying any number of subjects. The only criteria for my avatar is for them to be in the age range of 16-30 because this is the age of people who most frequently use the library to study.
Final set of questions:
I have a lot in common with my avatar because I modeled my product around the issues/opportunities that me and my peers have so my avatar is designed to look similar to my target segment.
I don't think it is a coincidence that I look similar to my avatar because I am the type of person that falls right in the middle of the age range and criteria that my product would be most effective for, so I created my avatar around that profile.
